A reputable bank is seeking an HR Generalist to manage their employee benefits, including enrollments, updates, and issue resolutions. This role will oversee the onboarding process for new hires, generate staffing reports, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This is a temporary position that will last 4 moths with the possibility to extend and possibly hire.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of HR experience, strong communication skills, and be able to handle confidential information.

$17 to $22.50 an hour

Responsibilities

Manage employee benefit plans, including enrollments, updates, and assisting with resolving employee concerns.

Coordinate with hiring teams and new hires to complete all necessary pre-employment steps, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.

Assist in developing wellness programs, tracking engagement, and reporting program outcomes.

Support employee training efforts, including benefits enrollment, new hire orientation, and other communications related to company policies and benefits.

Accurately process employee records, including new hires, promotions, and terminations, within the HR system.

Generate weekly reports on recruitment and staffing data for leadership and senior management, continuously enhancing reporting tools.

Provide timely responses to inquiries from internal staff and external partners.

Participate in various HR initiatives, focusing on process improvements and supporting HR operations as needed.

Serve as a backup for managing leave programs and supporting compliance efforts in other HR functions.

Ensure adherence to employment regulations and compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

File and distribute reports necessary for regulatory compliance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on benefits administration, HR systems, onboarding, or general HR operations.

Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and problem-solve.

Ability to handle confidential information.

Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check and drug test.
