We are looking for a HR Onboarding Specialist to provide a best-in-class onboarding experience to new hires across various client teams. This role requires a constant focus on collaboration, attention to detail, and clear, concise communication. As the front door to the company, we rely upon the Onboarding team to present a top notch first impression to all new hires. This position will be part-time and hybrid.

Work Arrangement :
This role is primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits required at the client facility or nearby location.
What Youll Do
Facilitate and execute onboarding process for new hires
Initiate and monitor pre-employee drug and background screenings
Ensure accurate and compliant I-9 completion and documentation
Ensure client specific requirements are met
Act as subject matter expert on all new hire processes, requirements, and workflows
Utilize HRIS system (Workday) for onboarding processes and to store documentation
Ensure accuracy of data input into systems and provided to new hires
Provides excellent customer service throughout the onboarding process as well as after the worker starts by assisting with HCM related questions and directing new employees to appropriate resources
Maintains discretion and ensures proper confidentiality in dealing with personal details of new hires
Actively participates in problem-solving and suggests process improvements
Support other HCM teams in completion of special projects and initiatives
Assist with the coordination of interviews, orientation schedules, and compliance tracking (e.g., training, certifications)
Provide administrative support for timesheet tracking, expense reports, and project updates
Engage with current employees for feedback and insights to support staffing recommendations
Contribute to process improvements and support special projects as needed across HCM teams
Frequently engage with candidates and active employees to provide a quality experience
Other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field of study or equivalent experience is preferred
Professional and/or Internship experience within an HR or Recruiting role preferred
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail, work prioritization skills, and accuracy with data entry
Ability to think critically, solve problems, make decisions and build trust across the organization
Strong experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and in verbal conversations
Preferred:
Experience in a Human Resources role or onboarding employees
Experience with Workday HCM
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
