SummaryManage full-cycle recruiting to support Goodwill Columbus.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with hiring managers and workforce teams to align on and meet hiring goals.
- Source, screen, and refer qualified candidates.
- Coordinate interviews, offers, and hiring paperwork.
- Follow best practices for hiring and documentation.
- Ensure all pre-hire steps are complete before start date.
- Identify and optimize sourcing tactics for assigned department(s).
- Build partnerships with community and professional organizations to identify and cultivate a relevant and reliable pool of applicants.
- Meet monthly recruiting targets.
- Track and report hiring metrics.
- Review and revise job descriptions as directed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
1–3 years in recruiting or HR required.
Skills & Knowledge- Understanding of employment laws.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet tools.
- Strong digital and system navigation skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
- Good judgment under pressure.
- Flexible and responsive to HR team members and business partners.
Will sit and talk with candidates for long periods day-to-day.
Frequent computer and phone use.
Daily focus on achieving metrics and role modeling responsiveness.
Office setting with moderate noise.
