What You Need to Know

The Vice-President-Human Resources Business Partner (VP-HRBP) serves as a strategic contributor and consultant to leaders who run profitable growth businesses that have one purpose: to deliver consistently exceptional care for patients and their families. The VP-HRBP is responsible for leading and facilitating the effective implementation of strategic human capital initiatives for AccentCare’s service lines. They work closely with senior and executive management in developing and applying changes to people management strategies, recruiting plans, compensation planning, identifying training needs, and advocating for continuous learning of employees where necessary.

The VP-HRBP provides executive coaching and mentoring support where required. They are trusted, strategic advisors who collaborate to create and implement executive Human Resources strategy within one or more service lines. This senior HR leader will be required to develop and present proposals, presentations and organizational plans to executives and other senior leadership required to develop and grow the organization. The VP-HRBP will lead a team ensuring the delivery of projects as required and that key deliverables are met within specified timelines. They work across departments and within Human Resources to deploy resources necessary for AccentCare’s business to achieve its business goals. .

  • Sets and implements the directions, priorities and human capital plans designed to meet both organizational, service line, and employee needs.
  • Oversee key HR performance metrics to ensure service line plans and programs enhance the organization’s overall business strategy, mission, vision, values and growth objectives. Works to consistently understand the industry, company, and employee needs.
  • Leads a team of HR professionals, as well as collaborating with centers of excellence to deploy resources and best practices to meet the strategic direction of the business, including but not limited to retention, engagement, leadership quality, and culture.
  • Serves as a consultant/advisor to the service line’s executive leadership team and change agent by leading and sponsoring programs encouraging flexibility, productivity and efficiency across the organizations.
  • Ensures the organization compliant with federal, state and local programs pertaining to compliance as well as all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Works collaboratively across the HR organization, all Support/Service teams and all service lines to achieve organizational goals and business requirements

Qualifications

If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you!

  • Bachelor's degree required; candidates with a Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential strongly preferred
  • At least 10 years senior HR and/or OD experience in generalist, operations, business partner and/or management roles with a solid track record for delivering results. Preferred candidates will have experience in all HR functional areas, a strong emphasis in organizational effectiveness and leadership development.
  • The ability to influence, lead changes, and role model positive behaviors to drive business performance.
  • Preferred candidates will have previous experience in a healthcare setting and/or a consultative selling organization.
  • Proven experience serving in both strategic and operational HR roles. Previous experience in a multi-state environment preferred
  • Highly effective project management skills with a complete understanding of business processes and the ability to integrate multiple resources for integrated solutions.
  • Ability to be successful in the face of adversity by making and executing tough, but necessary, HR decisions for the business.
  • Ability to create/develop professional presentations, proposals and organizational structure plans with financial modeling, articulate and concise summary of the matter to address, timeline and implementation requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to present proposals, plans or presentations to Executive/Sr. Leadership
  • Strong talent assessment skills with the ability to identify leadership potential in candidates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to be highly and effectively influential and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software ; HRIS software experience strongly preferred
