Compensation & Benefits Manager
The Compensation and Benefits Manager will support the Director of HR Operations in the strategy, analysis, development, education and implementation of comprehensive total rewards programs, including benefits, compensation and overall employee well-being strategies. This role will also oversee reporting and audit compliance as well as serve as a Business Partner to corporate support team members as it relates to onboarding, employee relations and other facets of the employee lifecycle.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
Total Rewards Management
Develop and implement total rewards strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Design and manage competitive compensation structures, including salary, bonuses, and incentive programs.
Evaluate options for benefits strategy considering harmonization, location requirements, accessibility, affordability and company goals.
Educate employees on comprehensive total rewards offerings and promote participation.
Oversee the administration and compliance of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other ancillary benefits.
Ensure data integrity, security, and confidentiality, consistent with privacy requirements
Keep abreast of changes in the industry and technology community, and collaborate with others to exchange ideas and share knowledge
Develop avenues to seek employee feedback, evaluate potential enhancements and share developments across the company, at all levels.
Compensation Strategies
Design compensation programs (salary strategy, bonus and other programs) to encourage employee growth, retention and continuous improvement
Develop and manage salary structures, job evaluations, and pay equity initiatives. Complete periodic classification reviews to ensure proper placement of positions within structure identified.
Conduct regular market analyses to ensure competitive compensation practices.
Business Partner
Support corporate support employees with orientation, onboarding and employee relations assistance
Leave of Absence Management, Audit and Compliance Reporting
Lead LOA process for all locations, ensuring compliance, processing and managing the leave process
Ensure compliance with LOA laws, forms completion, timelines, and documentation management etc.
Prepare and submit compliance reports as required by law.
Perform related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on total rewards, benefits, and compensation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SHRM-SCP, SPHR, SHRM-CP or PHR strongly preferred
Proven experience managing HRIS systems and payroll processes.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Advanced knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of human resources management including recruitment and selection, equal employment opportunity, classification and compensation, and employee and organizational development.
High degree of emotional intelligence; demonstrated leadership, team building, motivation and conflict resolution skills
Strong ability to prepare and present information in a comprehensive, concise and clear manner
Highly skilled at analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions, and implementing recommendations in support of goals.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
