Kumho Tire Georgia is seeking a Training Coordinator to support our learning and development (L&D) initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering employee training programs that enhance workforce skills, improve safety, and drive overall organizational performance. The ideal candidate has experience in training and development, instructional design, employee onboarding, and LMS administration, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities Training Needs Assessment
Partner with department leaders to identify training needs, skill gaps, and development opportunities
Support workforce planning through employee development programs and continuous learning initiatives
Program Development & Instructional Design
Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, job aids, and e-learning content
Ensure all content aligns with industry standards, compliance requirements, and company policies
Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences
Training Coordination & Logistics
Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs
Manage training calendars, participant registration, and training resources
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution of training activities
Training Delivery & Facilitation
Facilitate instructor-led training, safety training, and employee onboarding sessions
Support and develop internal trainers through Train-the-Trainer (T3) programs
Deliver training in both classroom and hands-on manufacturing environments
Training Administration & Reporting
Track and maintain training records using Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as ADP
Prepare reports on training effectiveness, completion rates, and employee performance metrics
Use Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools to monitor and improve training outcomes
Qualifications Education
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Equivalent experience in training and development or workforce training may be considered
Experience
Experience in training coordination, employee development, instructional design, or corporate training
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and presentation tools
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) (e.g., ADP LMS)
Knowledge of adult learning principles and modern training techniques
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Skills Experience with video editing and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Synthesia)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience managing training documentation and file systems
Knowledge of digital learning tools, e-learning platforms, and multimedia training content
