Job Summary

The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment process to attract, screen, and hire qualified candidates for open positions within the organization. This role partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities and Duties

Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, salaried, and/or professional positions.

Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements.

Create and post job openings on internal and external recruiting platforms.

Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and other recruiting methods.

Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.

Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Conduct reference checks and assist with pre-employment processes as needed.

Prepare offer letters and support onboarding coordination for new hires.

Maintain accurate applicant and hiring records in the applicant tracking system and HR files.

Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate flow, and hiring outcomes.

Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policies and employment laws.

Support hiring events, job fairs, and community recruiting efforts.

Assist with other HR duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in an HR generalist or related role.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Software Proficiency

Microsoft Excel (Basic formulas)

Microsoft Word

Microsoft PowerPoint
