Human Resources Generalist Location: Onsite | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (EST) Employment Type: FullTime Salary Range: $70,000 - $82,500 + benefits Travel: Up to 10% (domestic and/or international) Position Overview An established organization within a manufacturing/light industrial environment is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the daytoday administration and execution of Human Resources activities. Reporting to senior HR leadership, this role plays a key part in supporting employees across the full HR lifecycle, with particular emphasis on payroll, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR systems . This is a handson, inperson role ideal for an HR professional who is comfortable operating independently while partnering closely with leadership and employees across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Support HR leadership across core HR functions including payroll, compensation, benefits, and employee lifecycle activities Administer payroll with a high degree of accuracy; independently manage payroll processing Assist employees with benefits enrollment and resolve benefitrelated questions or issues Maintain employee personnel records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Investigate and support resolution of employee relations issues, including union and nonunion matters Support performance management processes through the HRIS, including training and coordination with leadership Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce data to support decisionmaking Support recruiting and hiring activities, including sourcing, onboarding, and coordination of new hire processes Assist with unionrelated activities such as disciplinary actions, contract support, and training initiatives Support implementation and communication of HR policies and the employee handbook Respond promptly to employee and management inquiries Coordinate and deliver employee and management training, including LMS administration and vendor coordination Perform additional HR duties as needed to support the department Qualifications & Experience 3-5 years of experience supporting a Human Resources function Demonstrated ability to independently process payroll Strong working knowledge of HRIS platforms; ADP Workforce Now highly preferred Experience supporting employees across multiple states and locations, including remote employees Working knowledge of employment laws across multiple states; California experience strongly preferred Experience in a union environment preferred Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing competing priorities Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new HR and business systems Must be authorized to work in the United States Education & Certifications Associate degree or equivalent experience within a manufacturing or light industrial environment SHRM or HRCI certification preferred Core Competencies Problem Solving: Uses data and sound judgment to resolve issues effectively HR Knowledge: Demonstrates strong understanding of HR practices and their organizational impact Attention to Detail: Produces accurate, highquality work consistently Initiative: Proactively identifies needs and takes ownership of solutions Why Consider This Opportunity?
