HR Coordinator Job Description The HR Coordinator plays a pivotal role in developing partnerships across the HR function, delivering value-added services to management and employees that align with the organization's business objectives. This position requires maintaining an effective level of business literacy about the unit's financial position, midrange plans, culture, and competition. Responsibilities Daily pre-employment checks in the portal. Update pre-employment check spreadsheet. Notify recruiter upon clearance of pre-employment checks. Enter candidate information into Workday upon recruiter approval. Send welcome emails to candidates. Email managers instructions for IT equipment, phone, and desk requests. Update TSG with new hire date and ticket number. Add new hire details to HR calendar. Meet and greet new hires on their first day. Create badges and conduct face scans. Collect I-9 documents and send them to TSG. Save scanned face scan forms in Workday profiles. Schedule and conduct New Hire Orientation. Manage conversions and open requisitions. Follow up with managers on conversion emails. Send pre-employment checks for each conversion. Monitor status of pre-employment checks, requisitions, and offers. Manage terminations, including Workday entry and scheduling exit meetings. Send performance/exit emails to managers. Gather and upload termination paperwork. Send termination emails and disable badges. Manage equipment return and follow-up with TSG. Perform written employment verifications. Update EV Charging spreadsheet and send instructions. Create New Hire Orientation and Termination packets. Update Leave of Absence and Workers Compensation spreadsheets. Handle correspondence with managers and benefits. Manage new injuries and clinic visit updates. Follow up with managers on work restrictions and accommodations. Notify benefits if employees are taken off work. Essential Skills Proficiency in human resources administration. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in HR coordination. Familiarity with Workday and pre-employment check procedures. Work Environment This role is onsite with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
