Job Description
A growing healthcare organization is seeking an HR Assistant to support day-to-day people operations across recruiting, onboarding, HR systems, benefits administration, reporting, and employee engagement. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Post job openings and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
Support onboarding by launching and tracking tasks and ensuring all new hire documentation is complete and compliant
Serve as a primary support resource for Paylocity and assist with maintaining employee records and self-service tools
Help process employee data changes and assist with payroll-related updates as needed
Enroll employees in benefit plans and process qualifying life events
Review and audit monthly insurance invoices and coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies
Track training completions, anniversaries, assessments, and other key HR activities
Build HR reports, charts, and process documentation for leadership and annual review cycles
Coordinate trainings, staff meetings, and employee events, including scheduling, materials, and logistics
Prepare and assist with quarterly HR updates and presentations
Maintain confidentiality and support compliance with HR policies, procedures, and recordkeeping best practices
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in HR, HRIS, office administration, or a related field preferred
Experience with Paylocity or another HRIS/ATS platform preferred
Strong Excel, reporting, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
MediClear or equivalent HIPAA certification required
