POSITION SUMMARY :

The Compensation Coordinator supports the Universitys compensation programs through position classification, salary administration, market analysis, and compliance activities. Reporting to the Director of Compensation, this role partners with HR and campus departments to help ensure equitable and competitive compensation practices while providing analytical and administrative support for compensation processes and employee inquiries.

Duties and Responsibilities:
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Administer and manage employee compensation programs.

Conduct market salary surveys and benchmarking studies.

Evaluate job positions to determine classification and salary levels.

Prepare and analyze compensation reports.

Assist in developing and updating compensation policies and procedures.

Collaborate with HR and management to create fair and competitive salary structures.

Ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.

Provide support during salary reviews and performance appraisal cycles.

Maintain and update compensation databases and systems.

Assist in budgeting for compensation expenses.

Communicate compensation policies to employees and address any related queries.

Required Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED :

1. Bachelors degree.

2. Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

5. Attention to detail and organizational skills.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

7. Ability to work with diverse groups/populations.

Preferred Qualifications:
PREFERRED :

1. Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in compensation or HR roles.

3. Knowledge of compensation practices and principles.

4. Knowledge of labor laws and compensation regulations.

5. Experience in market pricing and salary survey participation.
