POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Administrative office experience required; corporate environment strongly preferred
  • Experience completing multiple assignments with competing due dates required
  • Microsoft suite of products which includes Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams required.
  • Experience with Power Point, SharePoint and Human Resources systems (HCM / ATS) preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary general business courses or participation in business training program preferred

MAJOR DUTIES:

As a member of a collaborative HRBP & Resourcing team, the Sr. HR Assistant manages multiple priorities, supports recruiting efforts and keeps operations running smoothly behind the scenes.

  • Maintain and run system generated reports integral to the effective functioning of the department. This includes vacancy and recruitment related reports and miscellaneous expense reports.
  • Post and monitor job openings on various job boards, schedule interviews, coordinate and monitor education and employment verifications, request background checks, etc.
  • Prepare onboarding materials for new hire orientation sessions and complete I9 forms.
  • Provide ongoing input on process improvements and automation recommendations.
  • Assist, as assigned, with system testing, procedure review and updates, during pre/post-implementation of new HCM system.
  • file and maintain recruitment and personnel files.
  • Assist with other duties, projects and responsibilities as requested.

HOURS/LOCATION:

  • 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)
  • Hybrid work arrangement
  • Pittsburgh, PA 15222
