Eaton's Power Components Division is currently seeking a Training Supervisor. This is an on-site position based at our Beaver, PA location.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

What you'll do:

The Training Supervisor, reporting to the HR Manager, is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of employee training programs for hourly unionized employees and supporting salaried training as needed. This role ensures accurate documentation of training activities, including hours, skills, and compliance metrics, while maintaining alignment with regulatory and company standards. The Training Supervisor leads the continued development and execution of the Training Bootcamp, encompassing new hire onboarding, annual retraining, and skill enhancement initiatives. Additionally, the position supports the creation and delivery of training content, monitors program effectiveness, and partners with department leaders to drive continuous improvement in workforce capability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination and maintenance of site-wide training programs which may include, but not limited to OJT, site annual training plan, development plan tracking for hourly team members, new hire and transfers/ promotion training for hourly unionized employees.
  • Facilitate and support New Hire Orientation and modify content as needed to ensure an effective onboarding experience.
  • Develop content utilizing various media including but not limited to eLearning or Learning Management Systems (LMS), PowerPoint presentations, video, or photography.
  • Align with functional leaders to develop and execute site-wide strategy addressing learning needs throughout the employee lifecycle. This includes the development initiatives identified for key talent or roles, updating or creating training content, maintaining training records, and ensuring compliance with internal systems and programs.
  • Assess training techniques, set clear objectives and develops evaluation tools to measure achievement of these objectives and explore improvements that lead to meaningful modifications to existing programs.
  • Manage site-wide training updates and communications via monthly reports, newsletters, and meetings.
  • Support local projects, internal and external benchmarking and facilitate training sessions as assigned.
  • Drive for continuous improvement and support 5S initiatives in support of Zero Incident Culture.
  • Lead and/or support project leaders with change management processes, such as communication, training and development plans.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, workforce development and/or human resources
  • Minimum of 1 year supporting administrative processes and developing presentations and / or training content.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience developing a robust training program for a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience in a union environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Microsoft suite of products.
  • Experience in a Learning Management System (LMS).
