Job Summary
As a Recruiter at JCSI, you will play a key role in executing outbound recruiting strategies to identify, engage, and qualify top talent. This position is highly focused on candidate outreach, including proactive calling, email campaigns, and networking efforts.
Your primary objective is to connect with as many qualified candidates as possible, generate interest in client opportunities, and guide candidates through the initial screening process. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to effectively sell both the opportunity and the client.
You will be expected to develop a strong understanding of each client and position you support, allowing you to confidently speak to candidates and assess alignment with role requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and engage candidates through outbound calling, email outreach, networking, and marketing campaigns
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for assigned roles
- Develop and execute candidate marketing campaigns to attract both active and passive talent
- Communicate effectively with candidates via phone and email to promote and sell client opportunities
- Conduct prescreening conversations to assess candidate qualifications and determine fit
- Generate candidate interest and move qualified individuals forward in the hiring process
- Maintain a strong understanding of client companies, roles, and hiring requirements (must-haves and nice-to-haves)
- Accurately track candidate activity, status, and pipeline data within the ATS and internal systems
- Manage candidate communications and ensure timely follow-up throughout the process
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with clients as needed
- Support client-branded recruiting efforts, including managing client email accounts when applicable
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in recruiting, sales, or customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and LinkedIn
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Bachelors degree preferred
