Job Summary

Join our team as a Recruiter! This role is responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting on a variety of salaried and hourly positions. The ideal candidate will focus on providing a world-class candidate experience while building relationships with hiring managers and interview teams to find the best talent for DRS.

This role is designed to be hybrid with some days at home and some days in our Fitchburg, MA office.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and build relationships with hiring managers to better understand the business and the roles with the organization while providing recruiting support across the Naval Power Systems business unit and 5 locations
  • Work directly with hiring managers to ensure understanding of job specifications and desired qualifications for each position
  • Manage candidate experience so that candidates have a positive impression of the recruitment process including providing status updates, scheduling interviews, making travel arrangements, etc.
  • Advise hiring managers throughout the hiring process on matters such as interviewing techniques, selection protocols, offer management, etc.
  • Partner with HR team to ensure organizations talent goals are met including internal, external, diversity and early career hiring
  • Assist in the development and execution of innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent for the Company
  • Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors) and provide weekly updates on recruiting activity
  • Participate in job fairs and college recruiting to source potential candidates and promote industry awareness
  • Lead recruitment and selection processes that are legally compliant and cost effective while meeting established metrics such as cost per hire, time to fill, etc
  • May train supervisors on hiring techniques and legal issues regarding hiring practices
  • Participate in recruiting-related projects
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration or a related field with 2+ years of experience in recruiting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creatively sourcing high-quality candidates in niche roles
  • Skilled in managing tools, resources, and technologies for talent identification and acquisition
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, complemented by well-developed interpersonal abilities
  • Proven experience with Applicant Tracking Systems for effective tracking and reporting
  • Comfortable managing a workload of multiple requisitions with hiring managers and teams across various business locations

U.S. Citizenship required.

The salary range for this position is ($60,045/year to $85,864/year. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidates qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.)
