The Payroll Manager will be responsible for all aspects of payroll including improving efficiencies and system improvements. Payroll candidates with their CPP and/or PRISMHR experience are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Manage the processing several multi-state payrolls each week ensuring accuracy and timeliness Proactively research and resolve payroll issues for all employees, hourly and salary Calculate and submit various accounting and payroll adjustments such as separation and termination payouts, retroactive payments, multi-job overtime, health and other benefit payments, and other miscellaneous payments Keep all employee records accurate Performance management including, training, mentoring, and coaching staff Ensure compliance with laws and regulations Required Qualifications Three plus years of strong in-house multi-state payroll experience Two-plus years supervising multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to learn new and complex payroll, tax and software related information The ability to take basic concepts and apply them to new and more complex situations Organization skills: the ability to multi-task, set priorities and follow up on all client commitments Service attitude with at least four years providing proven positive results, professionalism, and strong focus on client satisfaction Ability to work under the pressure of time constraints and to prioritize client issues Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced team and meet deadlines Proven, effective management and leadership skills in a stressful, high-pressure environment C2 Essentials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
