HR Generalist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist who will play a crucial role in maintaining employee records, supporting employee relations, and overseeing onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will assist in training and development coordination while helping to maintain company culture and ensuring OSHA compliance. This position also involves preparing scorecards and supporting the performance review process twice a year, directly assisting managers with HR-related needs. Responsibilities Maintain employee records and HR documentation. Support employee relations items, including PIPs, write-ups, and verbal warnings. Oversee onboarding with light hiring activity. Assist with training and development coordination. Help maintain company culture and coordinate events. Ensure OSHA compliance and understanding of regulated environments. Prepare scorecards and support the performance review process twice a year. Support managers directly with HR-related needs. Essential Skills 1-3 years of HR experience. Understanding of OSHA and compliance environments. Basic Excel skills. HRIS knowledge. Additional Skills & Qualifications Open to HR Coordinator or HR Specialist stepping up. Experience in a smaller company environment (40-60 employees preferred). Industry flexible, but must understand environments with OSHA/compliance exposure (manufacturing/construction/etc.). Work Environment This role is based onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The company is known for its small, family-oriented atmosphere with a supportive culture. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of East Windsor, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
