Holman has an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Mount Laurel, NJ ! In this role, you will partner closely with leaders and employees to drive an exceptional experience, The Holman Way.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a partner and consultant to leaders and employees on employee relations matters.
Collaborate with the HR COEs to facilitate requests from the business. This could include the creation of job profiles, compensation analysis, providing high-level benefits and leaves information, Workday support, and recruiting inquiries.
Provide support and guidance to the business leaders surrounding the performance management process and disciplinary process.
Serve as a primary partner and consultant to leaders and employees on all employee relations issues.
Assist with employee investigations and provide recommendations that align with Holmans policies and practices.
Analyze exit interview data and review with leaders to support an environment focused on continuous improvement.
Act as point of contact for company project and programs and maintain documentation and tracking.
Exemplify, and advocate for, the Holman Way in all interactions with employees.
Support the organization to ensure proper workforce planning and alignment of roles and responsibilities.
Serve as a consultative partner when appropriate to both employees and leadership regarding leaves of absence or accommodation request.
Model the Holman Way in all interactions, keeping our partners top of mind in all scenarios
Hold regular check-ins with Supervisor-level business leaders and individual contributors to provide guidance and support, while also continuing to build and maintain the relationship
Provide proactive support to our partners and leaders by leveraging regular touch points to understand where support is needed and where there may be opportunities
Involvement and collaboration across the business by way of participating in PIE meetings, departmental meetings, leadership meetings, etc.
Assist in drafting and upkeep of policies and employee handbook
Ability to travel approximately once every quarter depending on the Division that is supported.
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
What Sets You Up for Success
Prior Human Resources experience preferred.
3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
Professional HR certification preferred (PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP), but not required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR systems such as Workday.
Working knowledge of employment law, FMLA, compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, safety, and training preferred.
Ability to build effective relationships, influence stakeholders, and provide consultative support to leaders required.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities required.
Leadership experience is a plus.

Regular Full-Time

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $72,950.00 - $103,955.00 USD annually for full time employees.
