HR Associate (Contract - Leave Coverage)
Location: Elizabeth, NJ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-4:30
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: Up to $24/hour

Position Overview
The HR Associate provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team in a fast-paced environment. This role assists with key HR functions including onboarding, employee records management, benefits support, and recruitment coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates or recent college graduates looking to gain hands-on HR experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support new hire onboarding, including background checks, I-9 verification, and new hire documentation
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems
Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
Provide support for leave administration and employee relations matters
Coordinate interview scheduling and assist with recruitment processes
Prepare HR documentation, reports, and general correspondence
Support payroll processing activities and employee data updates
Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
Provide general administrative support to the HR team and assist with HR projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred (recent grads encouraged to apply)
Internship or 1- 2 years of experience in HR or administrative support is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
