Physician Recruiter: Residency & Fellowship Candidate Engagement

Summary:
Were looking for a driven, relationship-oriented professional to attract, engage, and convert top talent while representing our organization at events and across the market. This role blends recruitment , business development , and the execution of charismatic connections. From cold calling prospective candidates/partners, to presenting at programs and events, to coordinating on-campus and external recruiting activities . Youll build pipelines, manage a stellar candidate experience, and support strategic partnerships with training programs and associations.
What Youll Do (Key Responsibilities)Recruitment & Pipeline Development
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates via cold calls, warm outreach, social channels, job boards, referrals, and partnerships (e.g., residency/fellowship programs).
- Maintain a healthy pipeline across priority specialties for all CHRISTUS Health markets.
- Own candidates' experience end-to-end (communication, scheduling, feedback, offer coordination, and handoffs to onboarding).
- Full recruitment life cycle.
Strategy & Market Outreach
- Identify and nurture new relationships with residency/fellowship programs, associations, conferences, and community partners to expand reach.
- Conduct structured cold calling/email campaigns to generate interest and build awareness of our opportunities and organization.
- Track outreach metrics and conversion rates; iterate messaging to improve response and pipeline quality.
- Serve as a responsive primary contact for candidates, program partners, and hiring leadersresolving inquiries quickly and professionally.
- Provide weekly pipeline updates, market insights, and recommendations to Leaders.
Presenting & Event Coordination
- Plan, coordinate, and execute recruiting events (on-campus days, open houses, webinars, conference booths).
- Deliver polished presentations on topics such as job search strategies, contract navigation, and transitioning into practice.
- Manage event logistics: venue/vendor coordination, materials, shipping, staffing, registrations, and post-event follow-up.
Data, Tools & Process
- Maintain accurate records and activity notes in the ATS/CRM; ensure compliance with documentation and hiring processes.
- Use analytics to monitor funnel health (response rates, interview/offer ratios, time-to-fill) and recommend improvements.
Preferred:
- Education: Bachelors Degree
- Prior experience in recruiting Healthcare Professionals
- Demonstrated success with cold calling/outbound outreach and converting leads into engaged candidates.
- Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
- Experience planning and executing events end-to-end.
- Proficiency with INFOR, Sourcing, Practice Match, Practice Reach and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
Working Conditions:
Location: In office (Irving, TX)
Hybrid of local travel and regional travel
Must be able to travel independently
