- The Human Resource Generalist will demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and employee relations skills with the ability to build credibility and foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- This individual will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage confidential information with integrity. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities are essential in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis, advanced Canva skills for developing recruitment and communication materials, and a strong understanding of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and EEO .
- The Human Resource Generalist must be adaptable to changing priorities, demonstrate effective presentation and training skills, and support healthcare recruitment practices and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain job-specific competencies.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work schedules to support departmental and organizational needs.
- Demonstrates efforts to maintain and improve job specific competencies. Incorporates new knowledge into practice
- Maintain knowledge of departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of workplace safety, fire safety, hazardous communication programs, and organizational compliance standards.
- Plan, implement/lead activities related to fostering organization wide knowledge and compliance of the JCAHO Human Resource Chapter, including preparation of Report to the governing Body.
- Promote the mission, vision, values, and culture of the organization through positive employee engagement and service excellence.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Masters degree and PHR/SHRM certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience and 3 years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience preferred.
- Healthcare HR/recruitment experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in employee relations, onboarding, leave administration, compliance, HRIS systems, and applicant tracking systems required
