JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for working hand in hand with department leadership to ensure that operational hiring needs are being met in a timely and efficient fashion. The ideal candidate is experienced in recruiting across a wide variety of positions in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Ultimately, the Senior Recruiter will source and interview candidates to ensure we hire qualified employees to meet our company’s current and future needs.
Responsibilities
Work with Recruiting Department leadership to understand the hiring needs of the business
Interview top candidates sourced by the sourcing team before deciding if they will move forward to the hiring manager
On occasion, be prepared to run your own custom candidate searches for highly urgent or complex roles
Brainstorm and implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and Boolean searches)
Be aware of recruitment software and proactive about suggestion potential options that suit company needs
Participate in job fairs and career events on occasion
Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partner
QualificationsREQUIRED SKILLS:

Expert-level experience in the full-cycle recruitment process
High level of proficiency with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
Hands-on experience with candidate databases and resume aggregators
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (like GitHub, LinkedIn, etc)
Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
Strong decision-making skills
Interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Recruiting Agency experience preferred.
Understanding of Boolean search strings preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking ability; strong time management and prioritization skills.
