Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Mathews, LA
Job Overview: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible in supporting the day-to-day Human Resources functions of the facility. This role ensures a smooth employee experience while supporting data integrity and administrative needs across multiple departments (i.e. Quality and Training) within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Point of contact for HR visitors
Maintaining accurate employee data across HR systems
Qualifications :
Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
1-3 years of performing Human Resources functions
Skills and Abilities:
Good communication, customer service, presentation, and organizational skills along with being self-motivated
Should have a general knowledge of employment laws and Human Resources policies, procedures with familiarity of the I-9 process
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
Must have basic computer skills using MS Office programs such as MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
Experience with HRIS systems and database management preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Desire to advance into future supervisory role
