Senior Payroll Manager

Payroll Coordinator Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll for field and office employees across multiple states Administer union payroll in accordance with IBEW agreements and job classifications Calculate and remit: Pension and annuity contributions Health & welfare benefits Union dues and working assessments Manage multi-state tax compliance and filings Process wage garnishments, levies, and child support orders Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws (Davis-Bacon, state-specific requirements) Reconcile payroll reports and coordinate with accounting Maintain accurate employee and payroll records Serve as point of contact for payroll-related inquiries Qualifications Required: 5+ years of union payroll experience (electrical/construction strongly preferred) Experience processing weekly payroll Strong knowledge of: Multi-state payroll tax regulations Garnishments and deductions Union benefit fund reporting High attention to detail and accuracy Preferred: Experience working with IBEW locals Familiarity with certified payroll reporting Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Miter, Foundation, or similar) Company DescriptionFIS, strives to provide superior service in the industrial, commercial, telecommunication, and utility market.
