You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the next lower level in the Federal service. To qualify for the NB-V level, you must have specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, NB-IV or GS-11.
Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
- Interpreting and applying Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, regulations, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Management Directives to evaluate organizational compliance and identify workforce trends;
- Serving as an EEO Counselor during the pre-complaint process OR adjudicating reasonable accommodation requests, including the review of medical documentation; AND
- Coordinating and preparing annual EEO reports (i.e., EEOC MD-715 and other related reports).
The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
