As an EEO Specialist, you will:

Advise agency leadership on EEO mters by interpreting laws and case law to develop compliant policies, conduct organizional compliance reviews and da analysis, represent the agency in federal workgroups to implement best practices, and design and deliver EEO training and instructional merials to diverse audiences.

Serve as a neutral EEO counselor during the pre-complaint process by conducting inquiries, faciliting informal resolutions, and preparing comprehensive counselor reports in compliance with EEOC mandes; safeguard sensitive and confidential informion; act as a certified third-party neutral or medior for Alternive Dispute Resolution (ADR); and identify EEO issues through da collection to recommend solutions for workplace improvements.

Serve as a Reasonable Accommodion Coordinor by processing requests in accordance with agency policy and medical terminology; advise senior leadership on approprie resolutions; review case files for accuracy and compliance; collabore with management, legal counsel, and HR to achieve informal resolutions; and monitor the stus of all requests while ensuring the timely preparion of da reports.

Coordine the preparion of the agency's annual Dodd-Frank Section 342 and EEO MD-715 reports; collabore with stakeholders to establish goals, outline accomplishments, and manage the approval process; ensure all external civil rights reports comply with federal guidelines and are submitted timely; and deliver presentions on agency progress and achievements.

Partner with IT and security offices to manage the Equal Employment Program (EEP) DaMart by providing functional requirements for system enhancements; coordine technical mters including system inventories, maintenance, and troubleshooting; and collabore cross-functionally to gher and track da regarding agency applicions and informion flow.

This position requires th the successful candide undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigion and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automed record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury. The successful candide will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notificion from the FBI of criminal mters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time.

You must have one year of specialized experience a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the next lower level in the Federal service. To qualify for the NB-V level, you must have specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, NB-IV or GS-11.

Examples of specialized experience for this position include:

Interpreting and applying Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, regulions, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Management Directives to evalue organizional compliance and identify workforce trends;

Serving as an EEO Counselor during the pre-complaint process OR adjudicing reasonable accommodion requests, including the review of medical documention; AND

Coordining and preparing annual EEO reports (i.e., EEOC MD-715 and other reled reports).

The experience may have been gained in the public sector, prive sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prored basis.
