HR Generalist (6 Month Contract)
Hours/Days Monday Thursday 9:00 am 5:00 pm in Parsippany, NJ office
Pay Rate: $35/hr -$37/hr
Overview
We are seeking a highly capable HR Generalist (Contractor) to provide broad HR Generalist support across our NA and Global Functions HR teams. This role is ideal for someone who can seamlessly shift between strategic tasks and handson execution, brings strong systems and analytical skills, and consistently delivers highquality work with exceptional attention to detail; ensure smooth delivery of HR programs and processes.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Provide day-to-day support across core HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations coordination, and policy administration.
- Assist HRBPs with employee relations matters, including documentation, meeting coordination, follow-up activities, and project tracking.
- Support performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, and compensation cycles.
- Coordinate organizational changes and ensure accurate system updates and documentation.
- Maintain and validate employee data in SuccessFactors (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Support managers with position management activities, including creation, updates, and deactivation of roles.
- Troubleshoot HR system and process issues; escalate to HR Operations or Global Shared Services as appropriate and follow through to resolution.
- Prepare HR dashboards, reports, and insights using Excel or other analytics tools.
- Conduct data audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
- Support Legal requests through timely and accurate data collection while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and Finance to resolve JPMorgan Corporate Card issues, including reconciliation of outstanding balances.
- Provide responsive support to employee inquiries and ensure a positive employee experience.
- Develop clear and concise HR communications, templates, and process documentation.
- Create polished PowerPoint presentations for HR initiatives, leadership updates, and employee communications.
- Prepare and issue Employment Verification Letters in accordance with company policies and timelines.
- Contribute to ongoing HR initiatives and provide support for ad hoc projects as needed.
- 35+ years of HR Generalist or HR Coordinator/Analyst experience.
- Experience with SuccessFactors strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and the ability to create executiveready presentations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively follow up , including coordinating with Global Shared Services to ensure timely resolution of tasks and requests.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with employees at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Comfortable working independently and driving work forward with minimal oversight.
- Bachelors degree required.
