We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions essential to effective workforce management. This role involves assisting with talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of human resources practices and compliance standards. Responsibilities
- Communicate meetings and agendas for Human Resources Team
- Assist with employee orientation, evaluation, training & development programs, and performance management initiatives.
- Assist with special projects such as salary studies, job fairs and training programs
- Assist the payroll specialist as needed
- Ensure maintenance and repairs are completed on office equipment for the department
- Set up and maintain electronic filing
- Conduct annual reviews of certifications required by employees throughout the organization
- Perform monthly audits on employee requirements
- Assist the benefits department by receiving insurance payments and conducting audits
- Support administrative functions such as data entry, contract management, social media management for employer branding, and general office tasks.
- Two years of previous administrative experience is required. Experience within a Human Resources Department is highly preferred
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Systems. experience in an HRIS system is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with payroll systems is a plus
