Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Human Resources Coordinator for a full-time, direct hire opportunity supporting manufacturing operations in Long Beach, CA. This role is a strong fit for an HR professional with 3 to 5 years of experience who enjoys a fast-paced, operations-focused environment and wants to contribute to a modern, process-driven HR function.

The Human Resources Coordinator will support day-to-day HR administration, recruiting coordination, onboarding, employee records, HR systems, compliance, benefits, and payroll coordination. Key Responsibilities

- Support daily HR operations, including onboarding, employee records management, compliance tracking, and HR documentation.
- Coordinate recruiting activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and applicant tracking system updates.
- Maintain HR systems such as HRIS, ATS, onboarding platforms, and related employee data tools.
- Assist with benefits administration, payroll coordination, HR reporting, and employee inquiries.
- Partner with leadership on employee engagement initiatives, process improvements, and HR projects.
- Support compliance with HR policies, procedures, and California labor law requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000 annually.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support onboarding, employee records, HR compliance, and HR administration for manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate recruiting activities, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and HR system updates.
- Assist with benefits administration, payroll coordination, reporting, and employee engagement initiatives.

- 3 to 5 years of HR experience in a coordinator or similar human resources support role.
- Strong proficiency with HR systems such as ADP, Workday, Paycom, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of general HR practices and California labor laws.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage details, deadlines, and confidential information.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support employees, candidates, and leadership professionally.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven HR environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting manufacturing, production, warehouse, or operations teams.
- Familiarity with recruiting workflows, onboarding tools, HRIS platforms, and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to contribute to HR process improvements and employee engagement initiatives.
