Currently at an exciting structural inflection point, the organization is splitting its sales and retention functions to aggressively scale net-new market acquisition. They are seeking a high-caliber Strategic Sales Leader (IC) to spearhead new business origination during this high-growth phase.

Job Description: The Sales & Partnerships Leader will focus on net-new membership acquisition and high-value corporate partnerships across the contractor, developer, and investor landscape. This is a high-impact, visible role responsible for pioneering greenfield territory and building a predictable growth engine.

Responsible for the complete net-new lifecycle: prospecting, qualifying, and closing premium membership subscriptions and multi-tiered event sponsorships to hit a $2M+ annual target.

Engage directly with C-suite executives, innovation heads, and marketing leaders to align platform data, research tracks, and networking value with their annual corporate budgets.

Partner closely with internal Marketing, Research, and Programming teams to convert inbound interest into closed partnerships and maximize enterprise deal sizes.

Requirements:

5+ years of B2B sales leadership or senior business development experience, with a proven track record of managing complex, consultative sales cycles.

Background selling professional memberships, corporate networks, subscription-based research tools, or high-value intangible business services.

Exceptional execution drive and the entrepreneurial desire to establish clean sales processes, CRM reporting pipelines, and forecasting models within a lean, agile organization.

Location: This is a hybrid opportunity based in Chicago, Illinois, requiring 4 days per week in-office. Travel to flagship industry events across the country (and select international locations) will average 25-35%.
