Job DetailsJob Location: Pryer Aerospace Tulsa - Tulsa, OK 74115Job Category: Human ResourcesThe Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting and administering a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, training, compliance, and HR policies. This role serves as a key resource for employees and management while helping maintain a positive and productive work environment.

This position will play a critical role in the production process and contribute to the teams overall performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Recruitment and Staffing

Manage full cycle recruiting for open positions, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring managers, and extending offers.

Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.

Coordinate pre-employment screenings, background checks, and onboarding processes.

Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Employee Relations

Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues.

Assist managers with employee counseling, coaching, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

Promote positive employee morale and engagement initiatives.

Plan/coordinate employee engagement with workplace events/activities.

HR Administration

Maintain employee personnel files and HR records for accuracy and confidentiality.

Process employee status changes, terminations, transfers, and promotions.

Assist with payroll changes and coordinate with payroll department as needed.

Benefits and Compensation

Administer employee benefits programs including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment.

Respond to employee questions regarding benefits and compensation programs.

Assist with compensation benchmarking and salary administration.

Compliance & Policies

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Support implementation and communication of company policies and procedures.

Assist with audits, reporting, and required documentation.

Training & Development

Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding programs.

Support training initiatives, leadership development, and employee development programs.

Performance Management

Assist with performance review processes and goal setting programs.

Support managers and performance improvement planning and employee development discussions.

QualificationsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE

3+ years of human resources experience required.

Recruiting experience is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift). Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25-50lbs regularly, and occasionally heavier weights with assistance.

Must be able to tolerate exposure to manufacturing environments, including moderate noise levels, vibrations, and varying temperatures.

Ability to wear personal protective equipment ae required, Such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

On the production floor, PPE is required depending on department and product (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection).

SAFETY SENSITIVE

This position is designated as Safety Sensitive under Oklahoma law, including the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. As a result, individuals in this position are subject to drug testing, and the use of medical marijuanaeven with a valid licenseis not permitted.
