Supervisory HR Specialist (Compensation)

Join the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Shared Service Center! We're looking for talented professionals to help deliver solutions that support federal agencies nationwide. As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Compensation) with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, Human Resources Solutions, you will lead payroll and leave operations, oversee compensation programs, provide expert guidance on Federal pay and leave administration, and supervise HR service delivery operations.For the GS 14: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent, performing all of the following:

1. Providing advisory services on Federal compensation, payroll, leave administration, or related HR programs; AND
2. Interpreting and applying Federal HR laws, regulations, and policies related to pay, leave, and payroll operations; AND
3. Leading or supervising staff delivering HR operational or compensation services; AND
4. Managing customer relationships and resolving complex HR or payroll issues while supporting program operations, strategic planning, or process improvements.

Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS14 level.
