Red Dot Corporation, the leading producer of premium mobile HVAC units and components for heavy-duty commercial and military vehicles , is recruiting for the following position:

The primary responsibility of the Human Resources Assistant is to provide support for the Human Resources team. Responsible for employee onboarding, HR administration, data entry, personnel file maintenance, recruiting support, attendance tracking, training record administration, customer service, and other general HR and clerical tasks. Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when interacting with employees, applicants, and external partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding employee and applicant information.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and ensure compliance with Department of Labor and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform general HR and clerical responsibilities including file maintenance, badge creation, term file removal and storage, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and new hire orientation activities.
  • Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting with applicant tracking activities.
  • Track attendance records and maintain related documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between Red Dot and temporary staffing agencies regarding workforce needs and employee onboarding.
  • Maintain training records and training matrices to support compliance and employee development initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other HR-related documentation as needed.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, company events, and HR projects as assigned.
  • Support Safety Committee initiatives and workplace safety programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to take initiative with workload and work effectively in a team environment with strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be enthusiastic, flexible, dependable, and professional.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG (Kronos), Paycom, ADP, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Relevant Human Resources, Administrative, or Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Interest in Human Resources as a career field.
  • Previous administrative or Human Resources experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to conduct onboarding and employee interactions in both office and production environments.
