Essential Functions
The Human Resources Generalist will have a vital role with the implementation and execution of the day-to-day human resources functions and duties. The HR Generalist executes responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: HRIS, employee inquiries, Benefits Administration, Compensation, FMLA coordination, Worker’s Compensation, implementation and execution of policies and procedures, File Management, Recruitment and On-boarding, Compliance and other special projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Benefit Administration: Facilitate open enrollment process; Ensure benefit compliance; conduct benefit audits; assist new employees with enrollment; respond to employee’s benefits inquiries.
- Manage FMLA leaves, Workman’s Compensation, Cobra and Unemployement
- Assists with the creation and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and submit for payment
- Perform other duties assigned.
