RECRUITER
Cooperative Production has 31 residential homes and 5 Day Programs. Our 24/7 supervised residential programs focus on a person-centered planning approach and working with individuals to create homes adapted to meet individual needs. We provide support in life skills, social skills, and community integration, emphasizing pursuing personal goals and interests. Each day, our staff provides guidance, support, and direction as needed on new skills and tasks, behavior management, personal development, social skills, and communication. They take pride in assisting individuals in achieving goals by maintaining knowledge of their learning styles, strengths, and support needs, and ensuring that skills are taught accordingly.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Recruiter supports the organization's hiring and onboarding efforts by managing the full recruitment cycle and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Working closely with the Senior Recruiter and Vice President of Human Resources, this role plays a key part in attracting qualified candidates who are committed to providing high-quality, person-centered services. This position also supports a range of human resources functions, including onboarding, compliance, and HR administration. The Recruiter maintains accurate records, ensures timely completion of hiring processes, and contributes to building strong applicant pipelines through outreach, job fairs, and community partnerships.
DIRECT SUPERVISOR

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
Minimum of two years of recruiting or human resources experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Professional and approachable customer service skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and willingness to use personal vehicle for business purposes
Successful completion of CORI and fingerprint background checks
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Coordinate all aspects of recruitment including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and reference checks
Review applications and resumes, prepare applicant correspondence, and communicate hiring decisions
Conduct background checks including CORI, SORI, DPPC, and fingerprinting in compliance with regulations
Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through job fairs, school partnerships, and online sourcing tools such as LinkedIn
Track recruitment metrics, hiring goals, and benchmarking data
Schedule and conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of onboarding documentation
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure I-9 and E-Verify compliance
Process employment status changes including transfers, schedule updates, and terminations
Support staffing needs by tracking vacancies and updating HR systems
Assist with HR administrative tasks including filing, reporting, and special projects
Provide front desk and administrative support as needed, including employment verifications
Participate in ongoing training to remain current with HR systems and best practices
Perform other related duties as assigned

Primarily sedentary office work
May require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds
Frequent use of hands for typing and repetitive motion tasks
Occasional travel for recruitment events or job fairs
