LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an organization in The Woodlands, TX to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a temptohire basis. This role supports highvolume, fullcycle recruiting within the power generation industry and is ideal for a seasoned recruiter seeking stability, longterm potential, and eventual permanent conversion.

This position is 100% onsite and intended to convert to permanent for the right longterm fit.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $36.00 - $43.25/hour

  • Based on a 40hour workweek (2080 hours annually)

  • Bonus (Upon Conversion): Annual incentive paid in April based on individual and company performance

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage fullcycle recruiting for mid to seniorlevel roles, supporting both bluecollar and whitecollar hiring needs. This individual will work closely with hiring managers and HR leadership, delivering a relationshipfocused recruiting experience with the goal of longterm team integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute fullcycle recruiting for assigned requisitions (approximately 40 requisitions at a time)

  • Create and manage requisitions; define job requirements, screening questions, and interview strategies

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates across technical and corporate roles

  • Coordinate interviews, extend offers, and manage preemployment screenings (drug testing and background checks)

  • Serve as the primary liaison between hiring managers and candidates

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and hiring stages within the ATS

  • Support recruiting metrics and departmental goals

  • Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and proactive sourcing initiatives

  • Collaborate with the TA Manager on hiring strategies and workforce planning

  • Build and maintain external talent pipelines

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of fullcycle recruiting experience (Senior / Level 3 preferred)

  • Required industry experience:

  • POWER GENERATION

  • Recruiting experience across bluecollar and whitecollar roles, including engineering and field service positions

  • Demonstrated success managing highvolume recruiting in fastpaced environments

  • Strong stakeholder partnership and relationshipbuilding skills

  • ATS/HRIS experience required

  • Paycom experience highly preferred

  • Experience with Paycor, Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, or similar systems acceptable

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
