Titles: HR Assistant
Duration: 12 months
Location: New York, NY 10014
Shift Timings: Mon-Fri (9:00 am-5:00 pm)
Pay: USD 22/hr-USD 24/hr
Position summary:
The role is responsible for providing dependable operational support for Campus Resources (CR) by handling day-to-day Human Resources transactions, managing intake workflows, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring timely resolution of HR operational requests. The position focuses heavily on operational execution, case management, process coordination, documentation maintenance, and supporting HR teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage shared HR inboxes, ticketing systems, and operational queues by triaging, routing, and resolving routine HR cases within established service level agreements (SLAs).
Provide first-level support and respond to routine HR-related inquiries from campus HR teams regarding HEO, ECP, and Classified employee matters.
Conduct job posting audits to identify compliance, formatting, or quality concerns and coordinate corrections with campus stakeholders.
Escalate recurring or systemic operational issues to leadership and track trends for reporting and training improvement purposes.
Minimum Qualifications:
4-6 years in HR higher ed operations, shared services, or higher education administration
Proficiency with HRIS or enterprise systems; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Proven accuracy and attention to detail; ability to follow established procedures.
Customer service orientation; clear written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualification:
Workday experience (reports, business processes, training support)
Standard schedule with occasional peak period overtime (UAT, cutover).
