Ferraro Foods is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support and execute key Human Resources initiatives across employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, payroll support, talent acquisition, performance management, and HR operations.
This role serves as a trusted partner to employees and leaders while helping drive HR best practices, maintain compliance with employment laws, and support the continued growth of the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance strategic priorities with day-to-day HR operations.
What You'll Be Working On Support the administration and implementation of Human Resources policies, programs, and procedures
Partner with managers and employees on employee relations matters, coaching, performance management, and workplace concerns
Coordinate recruitment activities, onboarding, and hiring processes across the organization
Administer employee benefits programs, open enrollment, leave administration, workers' compensation, disability, unemployment, and FMLA processes
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Support payroll-related processes including employee data changes, time and attendance administration, and reporting
Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Coordinate and track performance evaluations and employee development initiatives
Assist with compensation administration, promotions, status changes, and organizational updates
Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and hiring activity updates for leadership
Develop, implement, and improve HR procedures, workflows, and standard operating procedures
Conduct workplace investigations and support disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary
Monitor legislative changes and assist with policy updates to ensure ongoing compliance
Partner with internal departments regarding staffing, employee engagement, and organizational needs
Support safety, compliance, and additional Human Resources initiatives as assigned
The Ingredients for Success Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
Experience administering benefits, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, unemployment, and payroll-related processes
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
ADP Workforce Now experience required
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
Preferred Ingredients Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of Human Resources experience
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
Experience supporting HR functions within distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other fast-paced operational environments

Schedule: Monday - Friday | Standard business hours
Compensation: $60,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience
