Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (must be flexible to support 2nd shift employees as needed)
Pay: $23.00 $25.00 per hour
Duration: 4-Month Contract
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Overview:
Our client is a leading provider of advanced technologies and outsourced services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and consumer health industry. They develop, manufacture and package pharmaceutical and other products for customers in nearly 100 countries. Among its core offerings, develops and manufactures oral and sterile pharmaceuticals in nearly all major dosage forms, and offers proprietary technologies used in many well-known prescriptions and over-the-counter products. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support a busy manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with HR, payroll, or administrative experience who enjoys supporting employees, managing critical HR processes, and ensuring compliance. You'll gain hands-on experience with industry-leading systems including Workday and Kronos while playing a key role in payroll administration, employee engagement, compliance activities, and day-to-day HR operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the site's payroll and benefits liaison, assisting employees and coordinating with corporate teams and third-party administrators
  • Process employee transactions within Workday, including hires, transfers, and terminations
  • Generate HR reports and perform audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain and administer the Kronos timekeeping system, including employee setup, labor allocations, schedules, PTO accruals, approvals, troubleshooting, and deactivations
  • Support bi-weekly payroll processing by preparing payroll documentation, tracking approvals, and maintaining payroll records in accordance with company compliance standards
  • Prepare and maintain employee personnel files, medical files, and I-9 documentation
  • Maintain employee communication boards and site-wide announcements
  • Coordinate service award and employee recognition programs
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and site events
  • Respond to employee and manager HR-related questions and provide administrative support to the HR team
  • Assist with additional HR projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Administrative Support, or a related field
  • Experience supporting payroll, employee records, HR compliance, or HR administration
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with HRIS systems required; Workday experience preferred
  • Kronos or other timekeeping system experience strongly preferred
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills, including business writing, proofreading, and editing
