Responsible for human resources (HR) administrative support at site, including employment, pre-employment process, applicant tracking, workers' compensation reporting, new hire orientation, personnel change notifications. Administrative support for HR. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Assists with recruitment process; may prepare position requisitions, coordinate employment advertising and conduct employment background checks.
  • Conducts new hire orientations to ensure all required forms are completed (e.g., W-4, state tax forms, Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) I-9 forms, etc.) and forward or file as needed. Assists employees with preparation and submission of all personnel-related forms on an as needed basis.
  • Performs other related Human Resource duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

6-12 months human resources or related area

Proficient in public speaking and facilitating New Hire Orientation, including presenting company policies, explaining benefits, and guiding employees through the full onboarding process.

Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

1-2 years of HR support, HR coordination, or administrative experience in a fast paced environment.
Experience in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing setting preferred.
Experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG/Kronos, BrassRing, HireRight, CAS, or similar systems.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (audits, reports, tracking, data accuracy).
Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, I 9 compliance, personnel file requirements, and termination documentation. Familiarity with LOA/FMLA, and coordination with third party partners (e.g., Sedgwick, CorVel).
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
Reliable, accountable, and consistent with follow through on time sensitive tasks.
Able to work independently while supporting HR Manager priorities.
