HR Generalist / Payroll & Benefits (Hybrid)

Boston, MA | $60,000$90,000

A growing HR consulting firm supporting hospitality clients throughout New England is seeking an organized, detail-oriented HR Generalist / Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to support multiple hospitality organizations with payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR projects.

Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls accurately and timely
  • Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation
  • Draft offer letters, job descriptions, disciplinary documentation, and other HR materials
  • Respond to employee and manager payroll, benefits, and HR inquiries
  • Maintain employee records including PTO, wage changes, benefits enrollment, and workers' compensation information
  • Assist with health insurance administration, COBRA, and 401(k) programs
  • Support employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and terminations
  • Conduct HR trainings and assist with compliance initiatives
  • Partner with hospitality clients on a variety of HR projects and day-to-day support
Requirements
  • 2+ years of payroll, HR Generalist, benefits administration, or related experience
  • Must have hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems
  • Experience processing payroll for hourly employees with fluctuating schedules and frequent onboarding/offboarding
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace (G-Suite), and HRIS platforms
  • Experience maintaining confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to travel throughout the Greater Boston area as needed
Highly Preferred
  • Experience with Toast Payroll, Paylocity, and Gusto
  • Experience using benefits administration portals such as Blues Enroll and UHC eServices
  • Hospitality, restaurant, or multi-unit service industry experience
  • Spanish fluency
  • Interest in learning and supporting additional payroll and HRIS systems
