Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced bilingual Employee Relations Specialist to join our Shared Services team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional-quality Subject Matter Expert advice and execution on complex Employee Relations matters, managing multiple high-level cases from initiation to comprehensive resolution.

You will join a collaborative, fast-paced regional team dedicated to supporting people managers, mitigating risk, and fostering a fair, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.

What Youll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Case Management & Investigation: Manage Tier 3 Employee Relations casesincluding disciplinary actions, policy breaches, progressive performance management, ethics hotline investigations, and terminationspartnering with internal and external legal advisors to drive consistent resolution.

  • Manager Coaching & Consultation: Provide ongoing support, guidance, and coaching to people managers on day-to-day employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance standards.

  • Strategic Change & Risk Mitigation: Offer critical Employee Relations and Labor Relations execution advice for organizational changes, acquisitions, and business restructures while proactively assessing and mitigating operational risks.

  • Process Optimization & Insights: Continually review documented HR processes to ensure consistency across the team, while leveraging case data to deliver reporting, root-cause analysis, and actionable insights to key stakeholders.

What Youll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources with demonstrated expertise in Employee Relations.

  • Strong knowledge of labor standards, workplace investigation techniques, and risk management strategies.

  • Fluency in both English and French (Bi-lingual capability is required).

  • Exceptional conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build partnerships in a complex, matrixed environment.

  • High degree of comfort with change and the resilience to make sound, courageous decisions in high-pressure situations.

  • Experience working within a regional shared services organization is a plus.

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Dans ce role, vous serez responsable de fournir des conseils d'expert et d'assurer l'execution professionnelle de dossiers complexes en matiere de relations avec les employes. Vous gererez de multiples cas de haut niveau, de leur prise en charge jusqu'a leur resolution complete.

Vous rejoindrez une equipe regionale collaborative au rythme dynamique, dediee au soutien des gestionnaires de personnel, a l'attenuation des risques et a la promotion d'une culture de travail juste, conforme et performante.

Vos responsabilites

Dans le cadre de vos fonctions, vous devrez :

  • Gestion de cas et enquetes : Gerer les dossiers de niveau 3 en relations avec les employes incluant les mesures disciplinaires, les manquements aux politiques, la gestion progressive du rendement, les enquetes de la ligne d'ethique et les fins d'emploi en partenariat avec les conseillers juridiques internes et externes afin d'assurer des resolutions coherentes.

  • Coaching et consultation aupres des gestionnaires : Offrir un soutien continu, des conseils et du coaching aux gestionnaires de personnel sur les questions quotidiennes de relations avec les employes, la resolution de conflits et les normes de rendement.

  • Changements strategiques et attenuation des risques : Fournir des conseils d'execution essentiels en relations avec les employes et en relations de travail lors de changements organisationnels, d'acquisitions et de restructurations d'entreprise, tout en evaluant et en attenuant de maniere proactive les risques operationnels.

  • Optimisation des processus et analyses : Reviser continuellement les processus RH documentes pour assurer l'uniformite au sein de l'equipe, tout en tirant parti des donnees de dossiers pour produire des rapports, des analyses de causes profondes et des perspectives exploitables pour les parties prenantes cles.

Votre profil

Le candidat ideal possede les qualifications suivantes :

  • Plus de 5 ans d'experience progressive en ressources humaines, avec une expertise demontree en relations avec les employes.

  • Solide connaissance des normes du travail, des techniques d'enquete en milieu de travail et des strategies de gestion des risques.

  • Maitrise parfaite de l'anglais et du francais (le bilinguisme est obligatoire).

  • Competences exceptionnelles en resolution de conflits et en gestion des parties prenantes, avec une capacite eprouvee a batir des partenariats dans un environnement matriciel complexe.

  • Grand confort face au changement et resilience necessaire pour prendre des decisions judicieuses et courageuses dans des situations de haute pression.

  • Experience de travail au sein d'une organisation regionale de services partages (un atout).

  • Baccalaureat (de preference).

Reasonably expected salary range: $88,100.00 - $117,500.00
