Reporting to the Assistant Director of Marketing and Recruitment for Education Abroad within the Global Learning Office, the Education Abroad Recruitment Advisor plays a vital role in advancing the university's the university's study abroad recruitment objectives. This position is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies for an assigned portfolio of education abroad programs, with a focus on converting prospective student interest into completed applications. The advisor serves as a key representative of the Global Learning Office and the university at recruitment events, presentations, and outreach initiatives.

An Admissions Recruiter/Advisor supports the enrollment efforts of a campus, college, school or department by providing admissions information to prospective or newly admitted students, creating communication materials, and by representing the university at onsite locations such as high schools and community colleges.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate related field of study. Alternatively, in a specialized academic area, this position may require or prefer a degree in that field of study.

- Advise and engage prospective students through individual appointments, info sessions, phone calls, email communication, recruitment events, classroom presentations, and other outreach initiatives, highlighting program opportunities and the benefits of studying abroad
- Conduct proactive follow-up with prospective students to nurture interest, answer questions, and guide students through the application process
- Manage recruitment efforts for an assigned portfolio of education abroad programs, including faculty-led, affiliate, direct enrollment, and exchange programs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with campus partners, academic departments, student organization, and other stakeholders to support recruitment and outreach goals
- Attend and participate in recruitment fairs, campus events, orientation, and partner-sponsored programs to increase awareness of education abroad opportunities
- Track, compile, and analyze recruitment and enrollment data using institutional systems to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for growth
- Assist in the creation and implementation of recruitment campaigns and communication materials, including brochures, presentations, website content, email communications, promotional materials, and other marketing assets
- Contribute to the development and execution of social media strategies by coordinating content placement and timing, increasing audience engagement and followers, encouraging student-generated content, collaborating with campus partners, and promoting education abroad opportunities across digital platforms
- Support broader marketing and recruitment initiatives that enhance student participation in global learning experience and align with departmental goals
