Kforce's client, a stable, growing organization is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Administrator to support payroll processing and core HR functions. This role is a blend of payroll execution and hands-on HR administration. The client offers salary, benefits, strong work/life balance, and a business casual environment. This position will be in the Saint Louis, MO area and on-site role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly, non-union payroll for salaried, commissioned, and hourly employees with accuracy and compliance
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies
- Maintain accurate employee records, including new hires, terminations, status and compensation changes
- Coordinate and administer new hire onboarding and offboarding activities
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, deductions, and annual open enrollment
- Ensure timely and accurate timekeeping and payroll reporting in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Assist with development, maintenance, and rollout of HR policies, procedures
- Prepare payroll, HR, and compliance reporting for leadership
- Support performance review processes and general employee relations matters
- Partner with leadership on compliance initiatives and process improvements* 5+ years of experience in payroll and full-cycle HR administration
- Strong working knowledge of multi-state payroll, employment laws, and statutory requirements
- Hands-on experience with benefits administration and employee support
- Proficiency with payroll and HRIS systems
- High level of attention to detail, discretion, and organizational skills
