Safety Manager Jobs in Massachusetts

A Safety Manager in the human resources industry is responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure working environment. They are tasked with conducting regular safety audits, training staff on safety regulations and practices, and investigating accidents or incidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future. Important skills for a Safety Manager include strong communication and leadership abilities, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. Safety Managers should also have relevant certifications, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), which attest to their expertise and commitment to safety management.
