HR Representative Jobs in District of Columbia

A Human Resources (HR) Representative plays a vital role in the HR industry. They are responsible for managing and coordinating various HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development. They are also involved in policy development and implementation, as well as ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field is generally required. Professional certifications such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) can further enhance their credibility and career prospects. Prior to becoming a HR Representative, individuals may have roles such as HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or HR Generalist.
